RAIMOND & THE 3 MAGI

Raimond & The 3 Magi is a collaboration project between musicians from Estonia and France. It was formed in 2019, when Pierre Marie Lapprand joined the Raimond Mägi Trio. The first album „Red Eyes“ was released in April 2020. The album's sound has elements of contemporary European jazz, electronics, metal-music and free improvisation. The band has a bold sound with a wide dynamic variation, contrasting long piano parts with intense fortissimos. The band is aiming for a fresh and spontaneous situation in music using Raimond Mägi's compositions as a starting point.
